Mesoamerican Chronicles (1698 K)

This campaign is a fairly detailed history of Mesoamerica (the region containing Mexico and Central America) from the earliest stone age migrations to the arrival of the Spanish in the 1500s. Although the AOE graphics and units do not represent the area exactly they do perform tolerably. Due to the difference in the units available to the Native Americans and other world cultures, the following general rules apply: players will not be able to build stables (no horses until introduced by Spanish), academies, siege workshops, walls/towers, or advance to the iron age. The last was to prevent the appearance of several units such as elephants and horse archers. Each scenario has its own map, which is why the file size is so large. Although I do say so myself, these maps are very well done and add a lot to the campaign. If the file size is deterring you from trying this campaign, email me and I will send you a smaller version. I have it broken up into part #1 and part #2. The first is 724Kb and the second is 988Kb. Any comments you have I will be glad to receive at homem_de_ovo@yahoo.com . This is my first campaign and I would appreciate any feedback I can get to make this and any future ones better. This campaign was last updated 22 August 98. Thank you for playing the Mesoamerican Chronicles... :-)
