NUMENOR.PUD - the Island Numenor

This is one big island that has the form of a starfish. Each player start
on one if its arms with 65 K Gold. There is a 250 K mine in the middle which
is surrounded by mountains, so you have to sacrifice one sapper to get it.

tested several times, coooool startup phase (either fight or die), everyone
has two neighbors to fight against, and it's really easy to find some butt
to be kicked... I never managed to get to the mine in the center, though 'coz
the game never lasted long enough... but it may be worth to sacrifice a few
sappers to get it!

I like this map very much because you don't have to search for enemies and
mines, you know where they are. (The drawback is that a minor mistake at the
beginning results in a loss.) People who like offensive strategies will love
this one.

Another advantage is that you may use ships or not (think of transports - I
strongly recommend to use them). You can win with strong land forces only.

You may distribute this PUD together with this file, but not alter it.
